uninstall shell extension

How do i uninstall rename it? Specifically I want to remove the shell extension. I am on Windows XP SP3

From Control Pannel > Add/Remove Software > Rename-It!

If you wish to only remove the shell extension it may be a bit technical so I suggest you uninstall and install it again right after. During the installation don't check the Explorer Shell Extension option.
